Coming up to the Chip in June. A buddy was wondering if Winter Lake was worth checking out for a day? Whats your opinion? Have you fished it?

My family and I are coming up end of July to Castle Rock Lake and will be able to shore fish only... are there spots anyone could recommend that are kid friendly? Know anything about Castle Rock...

Thanx for the crayfish info... I just want to try and match the hatch the best I can... down here in Illinois alot of the crayfish...

I'll be up fishing out of r&r bayview up by musky bay...any spots to focus on around that area for pike, walleye, and of course musky?
