Just watched "The Next Bite" muskie fishing with Ty (Chippewa Flowage Muskies) Be sure to check your listings for airtimes. I seen it on CBS Sports this a.m., and it should air on WFN next week....
Thanks Chris.
Are you up all week? Can you update in a day or two?
I'm hoping it doesn't get to upper 70's after this hot week.
Debating coming up this weekend. Anyone have a very recent water temp? like from this week (Tuesday 1st thru Thursday 3rd) would be great.
Thanks

Your left hand 4 fingers where the pink line is (where the one arrow points), your thumb on the outside of that (where the 2 arrows are)squeezing a fist around that jaw/gill bone that your four...
Thats AWESOME!!! Congrats to the Mrs.
I don't have a vid or pic to show, - and maybe you know this but heres my 2 cents....
You need to squeeze thumb against pointer finger (HARD) when you grab...
Thanks, That seems to make sense. I got a nice 44 about 8 yrs ago, and would see one each year for a few years after that but none the last 4-5 years. It seems I don't hear of as many being caught...
Ty,
Have you noticed fewer Tiger Muskies being caught the last few years?
Thanks

Must see a Picture...... Please
For me it's turnover or around middle/upper 50's water temps when I get no action on blades or top waters. But, maybe if I used them more at that time?. I know people get em on blades right up to ice...
Funny, I do that hat thing all the time too. It seems to help me out. Also, sometimes I have to wash the "skunk" out of em, and other times I don't dare wash em. Can't risk losing the mojo.

I haven't been there in a few yrs, but every time I was there, the larger lake in the chain was not gin clear at all. I'd say it was tannic brown stain with 4-5 ft clarity.

Cool vid Mullet ! As usual, the fish decided to eat just when the angler looked away. They sense any weakness-I swear.
