Made it out yesterday afternoon for a few hours and found the ice to be in great shape. Averaged close to 20" of good ice. Truck travel is still o.k., but there's about 8-10 inches on fresh snow on...

There only old net stakes, not nets........ the only thing there killing are our wallets...... I figure I've got few hundred bucks worth hanging on them! Ouch! :)

Walleye's have been going good the last 2 weeks. Mornings have been o.k. at best with a few fish during mid day. But late afternoon's have been the best by far (as usual) with a few also going...

Overall things have firmed up nicely. Yes, some trucks out here and there off Springstead landing. Ice thickness varied though, in spots 13"-18". Some small slush pockets and heard the south end...

Fished the north end Saturday. My buddy got a wet leg in 10 f.o.w........ Ice was 1" - 5" with a norm of 4". Lots of water and slush on top. Managed a few walleyes off tip-ups with sucker...
