This year in Duluth, it has not helped we have had winds off Lake superior almost every darn day, the water cannot warm up fast this way, But keep looking for that early cabbage growth....

The water temps are finally warming up, with the Hot weather we had over the weekend and today many of the cabbage weeds are growing. Water temps is anywhere from 63-68

Well the smelt are running here in Duluth, Guys were down the past few nights and they are getting more and more every day.
Along with the smelt come the Cohos, Browns & Steelhead.

Was out on Weds last week and water temps are still in the 36-38 degrees. Did Boat a huge Fat Lake trout on a pink X Rap on the surface in a pocket of warm Water.
