May 1st Fishing in Fremont

As everyone knows the fishing is tough right now because of the rain and the water temps. The white bass are in the system but hard to catch right now. I was fishing with Randy and Dave the other day and we also had a hard time getting the bite to turn on. One thing we did do to catch some fish was made the leader going to the hook 5 feet. After we did that we were catching some nice fish.

I also saw some people above Red Banks using crank bait doing really good. Sorry I cant give you a better report. The fish are hard to catch right now. Trust me when the weather changes and the weather settles down they are going to turn on.
