Dec 10 - ice is shifting

These pictures are from this morning - some ice riffs are developing. The guys out there yesterday reported that they were sitting on 7-8 inches of ice and couldn't go out further as the ice started to give way. As you can see the further out the ice is starting to heave. They tried going out further but just walking they could feel the ice give - so they stayed where they were and caught some nice perch - saw some walleye but didn't catch any. some of thier group went further north to Allens Bay or Break on the Lake but I didn't hear from them yesterday. They are looking to spear some northern. Another house over night over by Stoney Point. no idea how they did. Attachment 15198 Attachment 15199
