Opening Week Walleye Fishing

Lots of Walleyes are being landed by our opening week guests. On Saturday, May 9th, three different cabins flagged me down on my golf cart to have me taste their fresh fried Walleye. I love my job! Water temps are ranging from 50-55 degrees, very different from the last two years when opening week water temps were closer to 32 degrees. Some Crapppies are being landed, the biggest was a 15 inch bruiser.
