Opener in Question

Well folks old man winter and mother nature are not on the same page as it is 30 degrees and snowing again today. Most lakes have 25-30 inches of ice and it is showing very little signs of going anywhere fast. All the shorelines that I check today are solid. We are need of a major warm-up if we want to see open water by May 4th otherwise I will be getting out the tip-ups for the clients on opener, and the forecast does not look promising. Looking forward to getting out on the open water and guiding for another season and meeting new people. See you on the water soon!

Good talking this a.m. Ice fishing the opener, ain't it sweet!!! Hoping to spend some quality boat time on Mohawkskin if we are not able to get on our lakes here... Its always been my go to shake down cruise destination, just might make it my opener lake this year...
