8/27 Bend a Rod

Another tough morning trying to get bit. We netted 3 nice smallies and lost a couple more before calling it quits at 11:30. Floating weeds/grass South of Starbrick continues to make things tough.

We just got our electricity back on after 13 hours. The storm sounded like a train just over the ridge from my house and lasted for about 45 minutes. Trees snapping and sirens going off as we pondered going to the basement. After reading the paper this morning, the city limits is a mess. I am glad I am not fishing today as the rain/thunder is still rolling thru. I was unable to get my boat batteries charged last nite as well. More storms in the forecast.
