Fishing Report 8-11-09

Ever get the urge to get on the water for a short trip? Nothing planned, just spontaneous. Well, I gave Dave a call and within 20 minutes we were casting.
Working several different spots and a variety of structure our first action came off a rock complex. I had an aggressive follow on a top water only to have her turn off at the boat. Then Dave scored with a healthy 34-incher casting a bucktail along a heavy current rock edge. All within a two hour trip.

Water temp was in the upper 70’s. Water was dirty due to all the past rain.
