Yes, it's a ways off, but was wondering if you had any input on which lake(s) in the Hayward area offer the best summer walleye fishing. We'll be up the end of July - I'll be fishing muskies but have a few buddies who want to do some walleye fishing...

Thanks for posting, glad to help out. The Chippewa Flowage is your best bet, day in day out. This lake has a great combo of dark water, and good numbers of walleyes willing to bite during the day. The weeds produce all summer, wood in the 6 to 14 foot range works too, and lots of bonus smallmouth bass.
