Lake St.Clair Muskie - Mid Lake Still RED HOT!!!

If you did not read my previous post regarding muskie action in the middle lake area and didn't get a chance to take advantage of it, well you still can. Mid lake near the weather buoy, behind the St.Clair light and Firecracker is still RED HOT, actually on FIRE! We have managed to still produce some great numbers and more big fish. Thursday 7/29 went 4 for 4 with a nice double header that ended our evening early, we had a 52" 37lber that hit and when we slowed the boat another 47" decided to run with it. Do to the extreme heat and high surface temps we ended up going swimming with the fish to help get them going again. Saturday 7/30 same area ended up 11 for 13 with a nice 48" fish. Spanky Bucktails have been doing fabulous. The Hulk Hogan color has to be the LSC #1 favorite of the muskie. Reds and pink colors are also working well. Get out there ASAP and take advantage of this..! NOW is the time as this action will eventually slow down. Good luck and good fishing!
