Its snowing! Damn may...june flies!

Two days of strong south west winds...north shore got to be on fire right? Not in my case, went out from two till eleven, at three oclock had one pike and one smallie. that was my excitement for the day. I talked to a few locals and they say that from shore its been really slow for them the whole season so far. I decided to go from shore tonight due to the thunderstorm warnings.Great walleye chop on the lake,just no fish. I guess theres been a couple mayfly hatches so far, and tonight they were all over right after dark. Hopefully the little bastards are done! I know its great food for the fish, but so are my leeches!
