Lake Geneva Report 9/30/11

Just got in from a cold damp night on big G. We dragged flatlines & boards working shallower areas, around humps, points & huge schools of baitfish from 2am until sunrise without a hit. once the sun broke the horizon we went probing deeper water 30-40' and tied into some nice thick 8 - 9" gills & seeds on 1/4oz modified spoons (single hook) tipped with 1" gulp alive minnows, crickets & redworms, today the redworms out produced the plastics 2-1 but the bigger fish came on the gulp minnows. All in all we picked up a good 25 fish in about 2 hours between us.
