South Dakota Walleye Fishing Update For Chamberlian and Pierre SD

The walleye fishing in chamberlain SD is off to a great. The spawn is nearly over and the fish have started to move to their early summer feeding grounds. Until now the fish have been in deep water many in 25 ft or more. In the last week we are catching a lot of fish from 3 to 17 feet near shore or edges of river channel. Everyone seems to be catching limits of fish. You can pitch jigs to shore or troll bottom bouncers and minnows.May is a great time for a fishing trip.
