Memorial Weekend 2011 Fishing Report

More great fishing on Memorial Weekend. Most groups reporting average size being up and numbers being good.

Spinners tipped with minnows or leeches along shorelines up to 15 feet again was the most common method for catching fish.

Multiple larger fish from 25-28.5 inches were caught and released and a couple PB's on the new thread as well.

Not many focusing on northerns or smallmouths this weekend.

Forecast is for crappy weather coming up. It will be a challenge for people to get out and fish from Monday on for a few days at least.
