lake report 5/16/10

RAIN EARLY-

WATER TEMP 64-65 - Mile marker #2 water clarity 1.5 ft
Overcast windy from NE-SE-AND BACK. No sign of any surface feeding. All large fish on graph- deep- this lake needs to warm up, as well as a higher water level. most of the logs still on dry land. Smartweed along the banks 4-5 inches, some now in the water. Some largemouth are active-Crappie guides doing well. With higher temps this up and coming weekend, will the surface temps of the lake make 70. Will the 80 degree days, start the blume, and draw the shad to the surface- Or could this be another LSMC BUST---Could this be a deep trolling bite, like we had in April years ago.
