Sept. 10 Lake Shelbyville Muskie Club Tourney CANCELED

Dear Muskie Enthusiasts,

The Lake Shelbyville Muskie Club has cancelled the September 10th Muskie Tournament.

The unseasonably hot weather has produced water surface temperatures in the low 80 degree range at the lake for several days with little chance those temperatures will sufficiently moderate between now and September 10th.

Lake Shelbyville Muskie Club policy requires that we not pursue muskies when water surface temperatures reach 80 degrees. The health of the fish is more important than the tournament.

Thank you to everyone who has already submitted entries to the tournament and to those who planned on entering. We apologize for any inconvenience the cancellation may have caused you. Entry fees will be returned to those of you who have already entered the event.

Again, thanks for your patience and understanding.
