Fishing Report 5-23-13

Crazy spring for sure at Cave Run this year.. Fishing has been up and down more than any other spring.. Weeds are coming on pretty good right now in a lot of spots still behind but they are growing pretty good.. Water temps are running behind as well we are at 72 now just got there in the last couple days.. Water clarity is good and the lake is in good shape.. WIth this cool weather coming in this wknd I'd say the temps will drop a little to upper 60's and the fishing should be pretty darn good.. Esox Assault Blades are working early and late casting weeds and shallow water with trolling and jigging during mid day. Jigging Bondy Baits and Red October Tubes have been best.. We have a full stock of 1.5oz spinnerbaits from Esox Assault Tackle they will be perfect for the weeds right now and they look great.. Stop in this wknd and check things out..
