Winnipeg River /Lake of the Woods May24

The winnipeg river ( ont ) is a little low this season as is Lake of the woods but it has given anglers the opportunity to really key in and target walleyes holding together in more concentrations than normal for this time of year. The sucker migration is pretty much over now thanks to the early spring temps giving the pike population an added bonus . Angling for spring pike was successful and predictable with key back bays and channels holding hundreds upon hundreds of suckers .
Big Sand was producing some big walleyes and the English River hasnt disappointed with the spring pike action!
The weather and water temps are starting to stabilize and with this will bring some great fishing within the next few weeks .
So whether it be Walleyes and Pike ,,, join Us up the river for some great action !
