October's almost Over

October has been a spotty month being the end of boat fishing with the mix of bird hunting. Even so, we had one of our favorite guest, which has been fishing the Menominee Boundary waters for over 30 years, give us a visit this week.
He had a couple of slow action days but was rewarded with one day of unstoppable action. Pleanty of Bass and Northern in fairly shallow waters. He even boated a frisky 3 foot Musky which was happy to get back in the river.
We are pulling the docks for the winter ice but we will keep in touch when some reports come in. Have a great winter!
