40 inch Muskie, 26 1/4 inch Walleye

Visitors from Iowa did well yesterday.

Jeff Whitson is here from Mount Auburn, Iowa...staying in Cabin #11 with relatives from Vinton and Palo, Iowa. After arriving Saturday afternoon, four of the guys went fishing Sunday morning. According to Jeff, "their first fish was a 40 inch Muskie." The fish pounded Jeff's Lindy Rig tipped with a leech.

Sunday evening Bob Thiele from Waterloo, Iowa landed a lunker 26 1/4 inch Walleye. The fish could not resist Bob's jig that was tipped with a twister tail. Bob's wife Kathy landed a real nice 12 1/4 inch Crappie earlier Sunday.

We have a Professional Chainsaw Artist here this week from McCall, Idaho, who plans to cut up a tree or two for us while visiting. John Schulz is here meeting up with relatives from Hudson, Wisconsin. John's son Kyle landed two big Bluegills Sunday....a 9 3/8 incher and a nice 9 3/4 incher. Holly Boeckerman from Albany, Minnesota landed a jumbo 10 inch Bluegill Sunday.
