Boreal Bay Ice Report - 5/5

The ice is not starting to break-up yet... suspecting later this week we have a good chance of at least getting a boat in the water. The ice around our docks is starting to get weak - the docks are all floating now as opposed to being frozen in solid. The past week didn't do much visible damage as the weather was colder than predicted... but even a slow melt does help thin the solid ice.

We surpassed 30 of the beds set-up and made... only 16 more to go! Spring bed setting up is one of the most time consuming efforts as we fully disassemble everything and pack up all the bedding to help with keeping it all fresh and clean in the spring.

Planning to get water on to a few of the cabin and campgrounds this afternoon.
