It has been a late spring, the shiner minnows are just coming into the bay. We saw our first muskie in the bay yesterday, the top water temps were 60 degrees but some of the main water was at 49 degrees. We found the bass outside of the bays on reefs between the rocks and reefs at 6-10 feet. Bank fishing for lake trout has started out slow, trolling has been better but small fish, jigging has produced larger trout.
