Madison Wisconsin Lakes Fishing Reports

LAKE WAUBESA:
Best action has been found in deep water 15-28 feet of water for suspended fish. The best presentation has been drifting and trolling live bait rigs/spinners near bottom over the mud for walleyes. Straight lining jigging spoons has been taking the perch.

LAKE MONONA:
Bluegill, Bass, Perch, and Walleye are relating to, caught best near the deep weed edges 12-18 feet of water, or suspended over deep water basin. Small to medium ice jigs or live bait rigs have been the best presentation.

LAKE MENDOTA:
Smallmouth, Perch, and Walleyes have been found along the weed lines. The best presentation has been jig/craw fish impersonators or live bait for bass. slow trolling spinner rigs for walleyes.
