7/29 Just bend a rod.

As a tough bite gets even worse, we had to deal with a cold front that passed thru Tuesday nite. After 4 hours without boating a fish, we finally landed a couple bass and 1 nice pike. We also lost a couple smallies within an hour or so. It was kinda typical for cold front fishing as the fish became somewhat active during late morning. Things were looking bleak after the first 4 hours but we managed to prevent getting skunked. As usual for July, we saw tons of baitfish just about everywhere you look.


Today, we will try to get Manny (who is new to musky fishing) his first musky.
