Ice conditions 3-14-2012

Yes, we still have snow. The temp this morning on 3-14-2012 is 44F and it will be sunny today. There will be great ice conditions for at least the next few weeks. We will probably will not be able to go to the portgage lakes after today. You will be able to use snow machines yet this weekend. We will be able to drive with 4 wheelers or vehicles by Monday.

A group caught 7 lake trout yesterday, on one of the back lakes one which was 20 lbs, I will post picture later. The lake trout varied from 55 to 80 feet; I caught 3 lake trout in a couple of hours, the fish were aggressive. I was in 70-92 feet and found the lake trout suspended, I was using 1/2 oz Sebile, Vibrato silver minnow. We have openings for this weekend give us a call at 877-228-2076.
