A former of student of mine caught a very nice 42.5 inch pike recently. I am not sure where he caught her but I am guessing it came from the river, since he lives right beside it.

H2O photo or driveway?
On the bank with a little bit of snow on her........Knowing this young man, he probably laid the fish on the bank for a second while he got his grip for the photo and then released her. The fish was not stiff and looked to be alive during the photo shoot.
She had not even started to get that egg filled super-gut on her but she was on her way. Very nice looking fish. It was a legit 20-24 pound pike. Canadian stuff for sure.........
