Fox Chain Musky Fishing Report 08-10-2013

After not fishing for a couple weeks and the water temps being to hot for muskies it was good to get out..
Fished this early AM and we had some luck.. On the second cast I had a fish blow up but missed the bait. Later on we switched to another part of the lake where I have had some luck in years past, 10 minutes into the area the water exploded from a nice fish, it put up a great fight and into the net the fish went, a super clean 47 inch Muskie. A few cast later and I had another fish blow up but missed the bait again, I guessed it at 44 inches, my partner ended up missing 5 other muskies and I boated another Muskie that measured 31.5 inches. all in all it was great to be back out and seeing the fish being active.. The water temps were 75 degrees.
