Coming up this weekend, anyone been to the outflow of Tonesta dam recently. Looks like their letting out quite a bit of H2O but their is always that calm cove. River looks out of the question with release of water out of Kinzua.

Coming up this weekend, anyone been to the outflow of Tonesta dam recently. Looks like their letting out quite a bit of H2O but their is always that calm cove. River looks out of the question with release of water out of Kinzua.
Sorry haven't check the site in a few days. They just cut the water down 1.5 feet today. Haven't seen it in a few days but it should be running pretty good yet. Work the 4 eddies on the opposite side of the wheelchair ramp. If too high work the first 3 especially the first one. Lots of rocks so keep that in mind. The river looks good to go. Get there early especially fishing off the boat ramp since it's the weekend !! You're probably already here by the time i posted this.
