Ice conditons on Crow Lake and Lake of the Woods.

For those of you that are coming up this weekend, and all the people who have called this morning. We wanted to let everyone know that after the rain we had on 2-9-09 we now have about 3inches of snow on the ice and maybe an inch to 1 1/2 inch of water. We are expecting some cold weather which will firm everything up. It is easy to get around, I predict that by the weekend you will be able to use 4-wheelers and possibly drive with a 4-wheel truck?

In town Gordy called this morning the ice road in Nestor Falls going out on Lake of the Woods out to Cyclone etc. will be closed until this Thurs. I will update the ice conditions as they change.
