Tomahawk Fishing report 5/9/2013

Very good walleye bite, Lake Alice and Lake Mohawksin doing very well. Kings dam very good with several fish over 18 inches caught the last few days with a 26 inch walleye on Wed. Good action using purple 1/4oz jigs and tuffies. Some anglers are using Northland impulse tails and doing very well. Shane and Cody are using small suckers and caught several walleye over 20 inches. Some of the Walleye were full of 5 to 7 inch Perch. The Wi River above the Cnty A bridge has been a productive area and anglers are having good success using Muds. Good reports from Slaughter House Bay on the Willow Flowage. Look for a hot bite on Lake Nokomis this weekend.

If your after Pike fish the back bays with #13 Rapala's.

Smallies been very active on Lake Alice in the shallows but with the cooling temps this weekend fish deeper water nearby.

Perch bite is strong, use fatheads or Beavertails on a brown and orange jig.
