Boreal Bay - Ice Report - 5/8

Ice is starting to break-up in the bay this afternoon. From what I can see looks to be 2-4 inches of "honeycombed" ice... not sure how the rest of the lake is doing as our bay is often ahead of the rest. Perhaps we have more hot air around this bay! :)

In this strange year - we have 4 groups watching the ice go out. Maybe we will sell ice-out tickets next year.

Expecting to eat some tasty ice out Lake Trout this weekend!
