Electric Motor Opinions

A little off topic but since no one is really fishing yet....

Anyone have a recommendation on electric motors. I use a transom mount on my rig as I fish out of the back of my boat. I've been using a Minn Kota Traxxis 55 but I'm on my second one in about 5 years and it's got issues. I replace switches etc almost yearly in these motors and now the blade shaft has come loose. I can't figure out a repair for that one so probably a new motor. Does anyone have experience with Motor Guide? Some of you put way more hours on the water than I so I figure this is a good resource. I'd rather not have to buy a new motor every two years.

I am happy with my Terrova especially after the new foot pedal was implemented several years ago. I put tons of hours on mine and really have no issues anymore.
