Fishing Report 4-22-13

Crazy Crazy Crazy is the 3 things that come to mind on spring fishing Cave Run Lake this spring. Craziest spring in last 8 years. Mother nature has been very cruel here temps up and down, low water longer than normal, way below normal temps as well. There has been no set pattern on anything all spring long. Some fish shallow some fish deep and all between. The lake is finally up to summer pool now with the rains in the last few days. Water temps are upper 50's and clarity is pretty good all over. Casting and trolling have been slow on catching not matter where you are at. PMTT in this week some fish will be spawning and some not and I hope most are not. Rattle Baits, Phantoms, Twitch Baits casting and Tuff Shads, Little Ernies trolling are the best. By no means are all the fish super shallow like normal so you have to fish it all right now..
