March 4 2015 pickup your bait as you come up

Sad News Froggy's bait has closed - they will be missed. Bait is still nearby at Bemidji or Walker.
We did get about 2" of light snow yesterday with a lot of wind, it is still great driving on the lake with no roads. The ice is just a little over 30" you might bring an extension if you have one.
Perch have been good in the 8' range on this south end of the lake and most are still using minnows and I have heard some good reports on Pike Bay from our fishermen this last weekend.
Weather looks great for this coming weekend - yeah.
