7/18 Bass/Walleye Hunt

We had a much tougher day chasing walleye today. Overnight rains bumped up the river level plus added more color to the water which usually helps the daytime walleye fishing. We lost several short-striking fish and only managed to net 1 legal fish. There were a few nice bass caught and no signs of any toothy fish. After catching their first walleye ever, the boys from Texas want to try and catch their first brown trout so we will take a run at them early this morning.

It will be a hot one today.......I expect the boys from Texas will feel right at home.
