Fishing Report for 6-2-10

Yesterday we fished the Chippewa Flowage near Hayward with jigs and caught lots of fish. Most of what we caught were big bluegills and smallmouth bass. We kept about 18 big 'gills and a couple big perch and released everything else. The bluegills were in the weeds and the smallmouths were around the rocks and wood.
Muskies opened up over weekend, Saturday morning we had 12 follows but no biter's, most fish were 32 to 42 inchers. Monday morning we boated one around 32 and lost one about 38 right at the boat, both on Big Game Twitchbaits fished over the cabbage weeds.
