Reports from the Cave 4-7

Now that the PMTT has come and gone which I am always glad about but during the tourney fish were caught everywhere but I think rattle baits took 16 of the 23 fish caught. The big muskie of the tourney taken off the Flats jigging a spring pup Bulldawg off the bottom in 13 feet of water. It is snowing here today and just tipping 32 degrees so the water temps have not progressed much and our water levels are at summer pool. Our muskies should go thru the spawn sometime soon and a cold spring should delay some great fishing late into May. Over the last 2 days Lance has caught several fish trolling rattle baits which NONE were taken trolling in the PMTT with that method. Fish are very shallow with the big females still to move up.
