Reports from the Cave 3-31

Up and down as the water goes so do the muskies. Rising and lowering has been the story here lately. Temps and water levels. and changing water colors typical Cave Run. A fair to good amount of fish have been caught over the past week. Mountain Muskie Lodge guest boated 31 fish for the week with the biggest coming in my boat a fat 47 incher that was spawning caught by Kevin Freeman from the Milwaukee area. Many folks got their first or largest fish last week. Lance guided Jason Broom from Beaver Dam WI to a super fat 44 incher. Fish have been coming from all over deep---shallow cranks--spinnerbaits and gliders. Trolling is showing some.
