Ya Gotta See This Fish!

Here's a photo sent in from my buddies Gary Price and Ken Kapps of a ginormous redfish Ken caught yesterday. The fish was 48" and weighed 40lbs. Ken is on the right in the picture. The guide (on the left) said it was one of the three biggest redfish in his boat in 20 years of guiding. To top it off this was Ken's first redfish ever. Ken is an avid fisherman of all species but a true muskiehead at heart and a regular guy if there ever was one. Congrats on the great catch and thanks Gary for sending that in.

Where was the fish caught?

In the lip...of course!

Sorry Derek but that was too good of a set up for me to not take advantage.

Truthfully I'm not sure exactly where they were fishing out of but it's a Florida fish for sure. I've asked Ken or Gary to try to call in a report on the RFRG show this Sunday so hopefully we can get more info on this catch.
