I found this book by Michael Hittle called An Accidental Jewel. It is a great read about the history and making of the Flambeau Flowage. I have read posts about Mike Fort. I didn't know who he was until I read this book. Anyway I highly recommend it. I will say it has some cool pictures but they are small and hard to see. I would like to see more pictures of what the flowage was like back then. Take care everyone.
