Lake Delavan, Geneva, and the Madison Chain of Lakes Fishing Report
The past week fishing has been very good on area lakes! Smallmouth action is the best action going we have been doing well on Delavan, Geneva, and Mendota Lakes. 8 to 18 feet of water. Casting drop/split shot Elk River Plastics or live bait. That 8 to 18 seems to be the best depth near the rocks. Largemouth Bass, Bluegills, and Walleyes have been providing some good action in the weeds, a close second on the action, some sorting is needed for those keeper-sized fish in 8 to 13 feet of water.
Hope to see you on the water!
