recent ice fishing report
I've been out fishing the last four days for crappie with friends and family. Yesterday I had a guide trip in the afternoon also. We caught fish but for the most part it was a tough bite. We kept 50 crappie yesterday. We had some big fish yesterday. There were a few 11 inch fish caught and one 12 inch fish. We didn't catch any that size the first three days. Overall, we were on fish all day but they were finicky. We had a blast chasing tipups and playing football on the ice. We got some good snowmobiling in along with some good fishing. My nephews caught a bunch of pike with two mid thirty inch ones being the largest. We caught a few walleye that hit our pike minnows. The season is closed on walleye so you have to immediately release them just so everyone knows.
