Fishing report for 8-05-2014

Hi everyone,

Picked up Gary and his son Andrew at Dunn Rovin resort and headed out on a half day walleye trip. We had a light East wind with cloudy shies to start but the sky cleared quickly and the sun ruled the day. Water temps were at 73 to start and rose to 76 by noon. Fishing the deep wood cover areas with lead-free jigs tipped with leeches we had a good time catching lots of walleyes keeping just three. Mixed in were sm. bass, perch, bluegills, and crappies. the bite was pretty good most of the morning with a few lulls in the action.

I still have openings in August so book your day hunting walleyes. I provide all the live bait and lead-free jigs we will need. Good luck fishing everyone.
