I had John Straple out yesterday for a walleye fishing trip. We started out a little slow for the first hour but did catch a few big smallmouth bass. After that, the floodgates opened and we caught a lot of fish. We didn't catch any over twenty inches which was fine by me since we were keeping six to eat. We probably caught about thirty fish total between 14 and 20 inches. Just a lot of great eating sized fish. John even caught a token muskie to top off a great day.
