GPS Chartplotter/Depth Sounder Canada and LOTW

I'm looking for some advice please on what to buy for a GPS/sonar unit and lake map chip to purchase this spring for Lake of the Woods all the way up to Kenora. It appears that Lakemaster now only works in Humminbird units. What current map chips work in the Lowrance units and are they reliable? Does the Navionics chip show the main and secondary navigation routes from the Canadian Hydrographic maps on the display? Does either the Navionics or Lakemaster map chips cover the entire LOTW? Any thoughts on which is the better map to buy?
