May 26th and 27th (Chippewa Flowage)

This was lined up to be a great opening weekend. However things don't always go as planed. I was hit with an aweful case of the GOUT! It was really dissapointing. Had a bunch of friends up for the opener. When we hit the water on Saturday water temps had fallen 5 degrees in 2 days from all the rain. We still managed some action. Dave got d heavy 42.5 on sat and had another up. The little I was able to cast managed a follow from a mid 40.

Water temps on Saturday ranged from 61 to 63. Temps on Sunday were 62 to 65.
