Fishing Report 1/17/12

Hey guys,

Big bluegills have been in deep water, using spikes on a tungsten jigs. These are small jigs and are more heavy then the lead, perfect for fishing these deeper gills. Some good reports from the Spirit Flowage on crappie and walleye. The walleye are in shallower water, use walleye shiners or suckers. Good bite on crappies, guys are still using rosies, but some are switching to waxies. On Mohawksin the walleyes are doing pretty well in the shallower water, but later at night. After 10pm. Seen some huge northerns this week, 3 in the 40" - 43" class!
