The past few days I have gone out on Lake of the Woods fishing through the ice. The ice is anywhere from 8-12 inches. You can get around best on 4-wheelers. Great black ice, caught 5 pike, lost a couple, caught a walleye, lost a couple. The pike were filled with silver dollar size crappies. Crow lake is still making ice, could use some cold weather and snow.
